Lors d’une rencontre avec la direction générale d’UMS hier, plusieurs salariés s’en sont pris violement aux membres du comité de direction, profitant d’être armés de machettes et gourdins pour les séquestrer. Bien que les personnes concernées aient ensuite été relâchées, ces actes sont inacceptables.

Afin d’éviter toute escalade de violence et de garantir la sécurité des personnes et des biens, la direction générale d’UMS a décidé d’arrêter les activités à Boké jusqu’à nouvel ordre. Nous appelons toutes les parties au calme.

Ces violences ont été le fait d’individus isolés et ne reflètent ni la réalité ni la culture d’entreprise des salariés du groupe UMS.
